About Us

Sista RN & Friends Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to healing our communities at the root through health literacy, trauma-responsive care, and culturally grounded leadership.

Founded by Sharonda M. Brown, RN, BSN, CLNC—also known as Sista RN.

We are building a Healing Ecosystem that strengthens families, develops community leaders, and transforms lived experience into lasting change.

Through clear communication, bold action, and trusted community connections, we’re restoring systems, rebuilding trust, and creating spaces where families can heal and thrive.
